Working principle of automatic soldering machine
The automatically heated soldering iron heats and condenses the solid solder wire, and with the help of the flux, it flows into the metal to be soldered. After cooling, it forms a strong and reliable welding point. This process is all accomplished by machines. We only need to manually control the machine. When the solder is made of tin lead alloy and the welding surface is made of copper, the solder first wets the welding surface. With the occurrence of wetting phenomenon, the solder gradually disperses towards the metal copper, forming an adhesion layer on the contact surface between the solder and the metal copper, making both sides firmly separated. Therefore, it can be said that automatic soldering is completed through three physical and chemical processes: wetting, diffusion, and metallurgical separation.

Common problems and solutions
1. Leakage soldering: During the welding process of an automatic soldering machine, there is no solder on the solder pads.
There may be two possible reasons for this phenomenon: first, the soldering iron head does not come into contact with the solder joint. At this time, we need to adjust the coordinates of the point so that the soldering iron head comes into contact with the solder joint, so as not to show solder leakage; Another issue is that the surface of the solder pad is severely oxidized, and the tin cannot stick to it.
2. Virtual soldering: During the welding process, it appears that the solder joints are still good, but in practice, the welding is not strong enough or the amount of tin penetration is insufficient.
The main reason for this situation is that the soldering iron head does not stay on the solder pad for enough time or the temperature transition is too low. Therefore, we only need to extend the residence time of the soldering iron head or increase the temperature to handle it.
3.Continuous soldering: The phenomenon of several adjacent solder joints bridging together during the soldering process.
The reason for this phenomenon is either due to excessive tin feeding or a small gap between two points. When encountering this situation, the first step is to reduce the amount of tin, and then check if the position of the soldering iron head is correct. If it is not correct, stop adjusting it in a timely manner.
4.Stack soldering: The solder joints are soldered into a spherical shape, and the pins do not leak out.
The main reason for this phenomenon is due to the large amount of tin fed, which can be processed by reducing the amount of tin fed. Another reason is that the legs of the pins are too short and the solder pads are not exposed.
